Winter Vacation Plans.

Here's the deal. I originally wanted to go to China during winter break. As I mentioned before, that isn't going to happen due to finances. However, that excuse isn't going to stop me from enjoying my time off.

During the week of January 24-28, I am planning to make it Korean Museum Week. Preparations are still in the early stages, but I'm going to visit some museums around Korea (and see some new cities in the process). That will probably include another trip up to Seoul, Daejeon, and probably Gyeongju. A visit to the DMZ would be nice, but I'll saving that for a later date.

I'm also off during the first week of February. However, I have absolutely nothing planned for then. Jon and Rathi are going to Japan for the week, but that might be a little too far outside of my budget. Japan is a very expensive place. For hotel and roundtrip flight from Busan to Tokyo, it would cost approximately $800. On the bright side, it doesn't require a $200 tourist visa like China.

Hmm... Suggestions, thoughts, opinions?
