It's Independence Day! As an American living abroad, celebrating this day means spending the day at work. I couldn't settle for just doing that. To spice things up, I've watched my favorite movie (Independence Day) and thought about eating an "all-American" meal (Hamburger from McDonald's). The day isn't over yet, but that trip to the golden arches doesn't look like it will happen. Why? In true American fashion, I'm too lazy to get on a bus for 40 minutes just to eat a fattening hamburger. It is the thought that counts, right?
Next year, my plan is simple: fireworks, grilling, watching Independence Day (annual tradition), and spending time with the people I love most.
Side note: 5 more Mondays/ 39 days until my return to America!

Dude... LOTTERIA is the same as McDonald's! Just walk to the wonderful Korean McDonald's.
