Baseball in Korea.

Here's another little update from a recent trip down to Busan. Before leaving Korea, one of the final things on my checklist was to see a Korean baseball game. I love the atmosphere of American baseball, but I learned that Koreans take it to a higher and better level.

Two weekends ago, I went to watch the Busan Lotte Giants vs. Doosan Daejeon Bears. The energy was great and the game was fun to watch. Each player has an entrance song. All of the fans actively sing the songs and participate the wave. I didn't try any Korean baseball stadium food, but it all looked and smelled delicious... I'm still kicking myself for not trying the pizza in a cup... Also, Giants fans apparently wear orange bags on their head. When the game is over, all of their rubbish goes into the bag. I bought a souvenir jersey to get into the spirit of the game. The best part: we won!

The Lotte Giants' stadium is pretty much surround by city on one side and by mountains on the other side.

Oh! They're just orange plastic bags that people wear on their heads.
