Here's another post that should've been posted weeks ago. School and working full time has really consumed my schedule.
As part of my birthday, Lynn treated me to a night out at Medieval Times. I had wanted to go there for years, but was never able to go for various reasons. It was a fantastic experience. The food was actually really good considering it was served to hundreds of people all at one. Dinner included: half a chicken, a hefty sized rib, focaccia bread, tomato bisque, savory potato wedges, and a very satisfying apple turnover. Lynn teased me for liking the apple turnover so much.
The show was really entertaining too. The king and his daughter, the princess, were gracious hosts. There were lots of staged performances and a bit of jousting. Also, there was a great bird master and hawk demonstration. The arena surrounds the performance area and is divided into 8 different colors corresponding to the knight that represents the various colors. Lynn and I were in the blue knight's section. Surprisingly, I really got into cheering for our knight. Sadly, he didn't win.
Can't wait to go back!
