I recently surpassed 800 posts on my blog! This blog post is actually 802. Now, it isn't really that big of an achievement and should've been reached sooner. However, I've been really disconnected from blogging. The motivation just hasn't been there. Something has been nagging at me to do it again lately. Guilt, perhaps. Whatever it is, here I am. Blogging.
While I'm here, a little update on life might be necessary. My Spring semester ended well with A's in both of my classes (Museum Fundraising and Business of Museums). The past two weeks without class have been... slightly rejuvenating, but incredibly busy nonetheless. My summer class on Evaluation Theory and visitor studies begins on Monday. Basically, it will teach me how to survey and question visitors to learn what's bringing them to the museum, what will bring them back, what will make them loyal lifelong learners, how they learn, and what they want to learn. Interesting, huh?
Next Friday is Lynn's graduation. It'll be nice to go down to Austin for a few days too. After all of these years of hard word and dedication, I'm sure she's relieved to be at the finish line. I'm so proud of her for achieving her dream. It has been funny watching her react to newfound freedom over the past several days. She does still have to study for her license exam, but is really close to being done.
Well, that's all for now folks. More to come soon. I promise!
