The Meeting of the Elders.

The elders met. Well, not exactly elders... Lynn's and my parents finally met yesterday. It was actually a really pleasant meeting at their house. Originally, we planned to eat at a steakhouse or Olive Garden (something for everyone to eat). At the last minute, it seemed like a better idea to just have tea and fresh fruit at their house instead. Nobody knew how the meeting would go or if we'd have much to chat about. Thankfully, there was lots to discuss. There were definitely a few very brief moments the language barrier prevented everyone from fully understanding each other. No big problem though. Ultimately, everything went better than imagined. Lynn thought we might only meet for about 30 minutes, but we were there for almost two hours. Two hours and only a few potentially embarrassing moments. It's all done and over with now though. Now, we only have the future to look forward to.
