Fair Foods.

Although the State Fair of Texas came to a conclusion last weekend, I still wanted to do a post on some of the fatty fair foods. Yes, I indulged in some artery-clogging, heart-stopping, fried foods. Most of the dishes were pretty tasty. Fortunately, I had free admission (thanks to the new job!) so that offset the cost of buying some food. My body probably hates me for even looking at some of the stuff offered. However, it should thank me for not eating foods like fried butter, fried chicken skin, and other questionable things.

Big Tex -- the 52-foot tall annual spokes-statue of the Fair
Ferris wheel and games
My favorite fried food -- Fried Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Fried Buffalo Chicken in a Flapjack -- tasted OK...
Fried Zesty Guacamole -- actually delicious
Frozen Arnold Palmer - half lemonade & half sweet tea -- AMAZING
Sweet tea pickle. Not bad, but not good. They also had a  Kool-Aid pickle...
Fried Biscuit with Gravy Inside -- kind of tasteless...
